Small groups provide an opportunity for highly relational, spiritual growth where church acquaintances become friends and family. This New Testament model for discipleship is often best accomplished in an environment of grace (small groups) where disciples accept each person where they are, celebrate how God made them, and encourage them to train to be godly. In this model, we are able to practice the "one-another's" as Jesus commanded. We learn to love one another, pray for one another, care for one another, and so on. We soon learn to live in a way that becoming a disciple for Jesus is part of who we are.
