Short Term Mission Trips

Our Vision: To see adults and youth returning from short-term experiences domestically and overseas with new passion for those who have yet to hear the Gospel, resulting in increased commitment to pray, give, send and even go for the cause of world evangelization.

Mission and Purpose of Short Term Mission Trips:

Perform work and engage in activities that are beneficial to missionaries and the church in other lands and that will serve to advance the cause of world evangelization.

Expose people to those who have much less access to the Gospel than us for the purpose of developing a burden for the un-reached.

Expose people who have never been outside of the U.S. environment of plenty to the spiritual and material living conditions, problems and difficulties of those in parts of our own country as well as in other lands with the purpose of developing a heart for mission related work.

Expose people to other cultures with the purpose of developing a love and appreciation for those who are different from us.

Expose people to the vibrancy and needs of the indigenous church in other areas (where it exists) with the purpose of developing a love and a burden to pray for them.

Expose people to missionaries, their work and challenges with the purpose of developing a commitment to serve as more effective senders.

Give opportunity to those sensing a call to full-time missionary service to confirm that call.

Inspire believers to support mission related work and even to enter into a full time missionary endeavor.

Participate in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)

So many individuals at Grace Church look back on a short-term missions trip as a life-shaping experience. Your heart will be touched by the needs of people, and our prayer is that each one of us will grow to reflect the compassion and grace of Jesus.
