Kids Kingdom
Our purpose is to partner with families in the Christian education of their children by laying a spiritual foundation during the early years, preparing them for their future.
Our Vision is to be a community where children can:
Know God - in a place where the child feels God's love, value and safety in small groups Grow in God - with age appropriate curriculum and take-home pages to reinforce Bible lessons at home Show God - by encouraging Christian virtues of sharing, praying, kindness, etc. Go in God - with songs and stories young children will repeat to families and friends
Kids Kingdom Check-In Procedures
On your first visit, please complete an Enrollment Form. You will be given a temporary identification tag for your first visit. Once the enrollment form is processed, you will be able to check in quickly at the ChildCheck computer terminals located on the main and lower levels near the TOT Garden. A parent must present the claim tag in order to pick up a child.
Please alert the caretakers of any allergies! If you have indicated an allergy on the Enrollment Form, the name tag will alert caretakers of your child's special needs.
Promotions
Children will be promoted from the Early Childhood TOT Garden on the first Sunday of the month following their birthday. Children will be promoted from Pre-K to Kindergarten the first Sunday in June.
Kids Kingdom Safety & Health
Great care is given for safety and health procedures to ensure the well-being of your child.
Our child-to-worker ratio is maintained as closely as possible. A minimum of two caregivers oversee each room. Youth 13 years or older may volunteer the Pumpkin, Cabbage and Strawberry Patches. Youth 12 years and older may volunteer in the Blueberry Patch or the Pear, Plum and Peach Orchards.
Nursing mothers are always welcome in the "Sweet" Pea Pod, a private room equipped with rocking chairs and a TV monitor of the worship service.
In order to provide a healthy environment for your child, we ask that you keep your child home if he or she exhibits any of the following symptoms:
- Fever or Vomiting
- Discharge in or around the eyes
- Green or yellow runny nose
- Excessive coughing
- Diarrhea
- Questionable rash
- Any communicable disease
No medications will be given under any circumstances.
For your protection, we ask our Caregivers to follow these same guidelines.
