Health Ministry

The Grace Health Ministry Team is comprised of volunteer Christian health professionals and lay members. Working together in a spirit of unity, they pool their collective medical expertise, experience and resources to provide a unique ministry that addresses spiritual, physical and emotional health issues across the life span.

MISSION STATEMENT:
To exalt Jesus Christ through a Health Ministry that promotes health and healing of the whole person (spiritual, physical, and emotional) among our church family and community.

GRACE SERVICES:
Our Care Team will do assessments and follow-up visitations as needed for Grace attenders who are housebound, chronically and terminally ill, new mothers, or those recuperating from surgery by contacting Carrol Klinker at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. What our Health Ministry does NOT do is provide home nursing care, serve as an outreach health clinic, or provide invasive or hands-on medical or nursing procedures.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

The Health Ministry is sponsoring a health education program called WISH (Women into Saving their Health). All women are invited to Grace Church on August 16th at 7:00pm. A prescription for a FREE mammogram at Fairvieiw or Lakewood facility will be offered to UNINSURED women who have not received a mammogram in the past 366 days. Call 440-331-0618 for reservations.

Cardiovascular Disease and stroke devastate or kill millions of Americans each year. Support the American Heart Association fight against cardiovascular disease by walking in their annual fundraiser walk on Saturday, August 21 at Mall C downtown. Yearning for the great outdoors? We are beginning a new exercise routine and enjoying making new friends. Join a new walking group geared for moderate-paced walkers. We offer free blood pressure screening on the second Sunday of every month from 10:00-noon in the Café.
