Implosion (America & Bible Prophecy)

Author Joel Rosenberg explores the role of the United States and biblical prophecy in the light of current events. With mounting federal debts, social changes, a weak church, a declining morality, apostasy and spiritual apathy where does America fit in the Bible? Is there a way for America to recover? We will use Joel Rosenberg’s book, Implosion, along with the Bible to explore prophecy and America’s role. We will also learn what role we play. Some of the topics will be: The signs of the time, Rebirth of Israel, America and the Last days, War and terrorism, the Rapture scenario, Revival and hope. If you ever had any questions about where the USA is headed as a nation, and how we fit into the Bible, this class is for you. Book available - $16.

Know the Word

This quarter we will study Psalm 119 to more fully understand the importance and necessity of the Word in our life daily. (1) “Blessed is he who keeps the words of prophecy of this book.” (2) “Sin is crouching at your door, it desires to have you but you must master it.” Do you know where these verses are in the Bible or who said it? We have this manual of instruction available to us. The word is essential. We need the wisdom and knowledge within the Holy Bible. This class is open to men and women. Join us and bring your Bible. We will read, write and ponder on the (awesome) words He gave us.

The Boiler Room (Prayer Meeting)

The Lord is calling me to a time of prayer. I believe that the time is coming for great revival. In the words of Samuel Chadwick, “The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayer-less studies, prayer-less work and prayer-less religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.” I will not be teaching how to pray, but I will be praying for revival. If anyone wants to join me, I gladly invite you to come and pray and seek to hear God’s voice.

Why “The Boiler Room?” There were five young college students who went to see C. H. Spurgeon preach. While waiting for the doors to open, a man came up to them and asked them if they wanted a tour. “Would you like to see the heating plant?” he said. The young men were taken down a stairway, a door was opened, and the guide said, “This is our heating plant.” Surprised, the students saw 700 people, heads bowed praying for the upcoming service. The guide was none other than Charles Spurgeon.
